ABOUT RISA
I am a certifed Life-Cycle Celebrant, specifically trained in the art of creating ceremony that gives personal meaning to life's most significant rites of passage. As a Non-Denominational Minister, ordained by the Universal Brotherhood Movement, I am granted the power to be a legal officiant of marriages and civil unions.
I believe that I have been preparing to do this work all of my life!
I come to you with many years of experience as a Marriage and Family Counselor, and as a Rites of Passage Educator. Hours spent listening to peoples' greatest hopes, highest expectations and deepest feelings has informed my commitment to creating authentic, meaningful experiences that effectively mark life's major milestones.

I am located in Teaneck, New Jersey. As an ordained Non-Denominational minister, it is my privilege to officiate marriages and civil unions in northern and central New Jersey, and the five boroughs of New York City.
I am pleased to provide all other Celebrant services within the entire NY/NJ metropolitan area.
Inasmuch as I am also a licensed Marriage and Family counselor, I am available for pre-marital counseling sessions, as an additional service upon request.
